Jacaranda wins Regional Small Press of the Year at the 2020 #Nibbies
Jacaranda Book has been nominated as one of the two winners for the London area for the British Book Awards Small Press of the Year.
The Bookseller announced the joint-win with Tiny Owl on Wednesday, March 18. Other regional winners include Comma Press, Firefly Press, The Lilliput Press, Otter-Barry Books, Really Decent Books, Sandstone Press and September Publishing.
The overall winner of the award will be announced on 29th June at the #Nibbies ceremony in London.

Jacaranda publishes award-winning authors across different genres, including adult fiction, non-fiction, YA and poetry. Founded by Valerie Brandes, it is run by talented women of colour whose aim is to promote and celebrate inclusivity and diversity in the publishing industry since 2012.
2020 has seen the launch of the first book for #Twentyin2020 initiative with Through the Leopard's Gaze by Njambi McGrath, a memoir of the comedian growing up in Kenya. The initiative aims to bring to their readers twenty amazing books written by Black British writers.
